This board book quickly became one of my 15-month-old twins' favorites! The natural rhythm of the book combined with an expressive reading style worked to get my kids totally engaged in this book. My daughter, in particular, has taken from the book a sense of scale...when she pretends to read it to herself, she gets louder and more exaggerated as the number of monkeys and drums increases.
