A New Earth: Awakening to Your Life's Purpose (Oprah's Book Club, Selection 61)

Thin Book of Appreciative Inquiry (2nd edition) (Thin Book Series)

I was referred to this book when I started exploring organizational change - as in, what makes humans "engage" and get really excited to think big and proceed from the positive. It's brevity belies its wisdom. This book is accessible and applicable. I highly recommend it for all businesses or organizations that have meetings (so - every biz or org).Buy Thin Book of Appreciative Inquiry (2nd edition) (Thin Book Series)!

Adobe InDesign CS4 Classroom in a Book

If you are looking to go page by page through this book to learn InDesign, I suppose it's good for that (I don't know--I didn't try using it that way). But if you want to be able to look up how to do something when you're in a bind, absolutely, positively do not buy this book. Even the premise of creating "someone else's" project so you can learn InDesign is so old school. Who has the time to waste creating a "practice" project? I certainly don't. Fancy Nancy and the Boy from Paris (I Can Read Book 1)

We got this for our grand daughter's 6th birthday and she loved it. She was already doing a fair job of reading before starting 1st grade, and it was not at all simple, yet not beyond what she could handle. And she loved the story. What else could you want?Buy Fancy Nancy and the Boy from Paris (I Can Read Book 1)!

The Big Book of Girl Stuff

My 11 year old Daughter asked me to purchase this book. She reads me something from the book every day. It has jokes, advice, magic tricks, and many other items to keep her well entertained and informed. It also covers those "subjects" that are very difficult for a parent to "bring up", the book helps open a conversation about those subjects.Buy The Big Book of Girl Stuff!

Book Finds, 3rd Edition: How to Find, Buy, and Sell Used and Rare Books

I am still reviewing/reading the book. It is very informative; there is a lot of information - most of it very valuable to what I am trying to accomplish as a book buyer. Putting it all into practice will take some time but I am willing to develop and learn from this book and others.Buy Book Finds, 3rd Edition: How to Find, Buy, and Sell Used and Rare Books!
