Pat the Bunny Book & Plush (Touch-and-Feel)

This "Pat the Bunny" book is exactly like the one I got for my boys 20 years ago when they were small. It's cute and inventive, but it is NOT sturdy enough for toddlers. Ours fell apart right away. Also the story and activities were not especially engaging for my boys. If you do buy it, I suggest that you put it out of the child's reach after you read it. Or buy high-quality board books instead.

As an aside, couple of terrific bunny-books that I recommend for youngsters are: "The Country Bunny and the Golden Shoes", (I can't say enough praises about this it, though it was published in 1939!), and "Home for a Bunny", a beautiful Golden Book. The story is sweet, and the illustrations so beautiful that I still love to look at them. Amazon has the "big version" which is hard backed. Non-Designer's Design Book, The (3rd Edition) (Non Designer's Design Book)

This book is one of those gems that IF you need it, when you finally find it, the heavens open up and you realize that this mystery of life that has been befuddling you is really a pretty simply thing. The author "gets" how to simplify a complex subject so that it is both useful AND easy to apply to real world tasks... she uses lots of very good "before and after" examples of design issues that have been fixed so that your eye and your brain can "get it" as well... I HIGHLY recommend this book if you want to amaze your boss and co-workers (or friends or club members) with your new found ability to create well designed pages of any kind. Chosen (House of Night, Book 3)

I liked this "House of Night" book but, this is the starting point where Zoey becomes too easy for my taste. I am not a prude (trust me), but as the series goes on you will see what I mean. Buy Chosen (House of Night, Book 3)!

D'Aulaires' Book of Greek Myths

This book was part of our homeschool study of the ancient Greeks, and was perfect for a 1st grader. The illustrations, the details, and the length were spot on. Many books for this age group are too short for developing a real attention span. We didn't want it to end. Buy D'Aulaires' Book of Greek Myths!

The ICU Book, 3rd Edition

if you intend to deal with the ICU by any mean , this book is the must have one, the bible, the rules the one that will not survive with, if i were to be put on an isolated island and have 2 things only with me, this book would be one of them.
All that being said, yet i rate it 4/5 , no i am not schizophrenic, the material is pretty good, but the lay out and the user friendly touch is missing in this book, you cannot bond with this book easily ,b but you will have to , the illustrations are dull and few , this book being the Ace on the market needs some editor work to pump it up, for lone this book has stood alone with no other book within its size could deliver the same amount of info effectually (don't give me a 3000 pages textbook and compare it to this one OK !!), yet the ACP had issued their critical care guide which more or less of the same quality , size and more effort in the editing and lay out, yet still not to the optimum , i hope to see a 4th edition addressing not only the science but a new look , a more friendly lay out , nutshell tables, 2 colors may be, more diagrams.

so far the best in its category and a critical book for the ICU specially for internal medicine and surgery residents.
