This book was so awesome. I'm going to reveal a few things, so if you don't want to know yet stop reading! When Briar Rose died I was kind of sad. After all, Uncle Jake did love her! For those of you who heard rumors, Puck and Sabrina do NOT kiss in this book, but Puck found out that he Sabrina were married in the future. He reacted kind of wildly and did some very nasty pranks on her. Finding out who the Master was a shock. Near the end of the book, you find out that Mirror (gasp) is the Master. Hunted (House of Night, Book 5)

To me, this series picked back up again with Untamed and especially Hunted. This novel stayed true to the series with the romance and action. Plus, Zoey's character stayed true to herself. She continuously looked inside and trusted that Nyx was leading her in the right direction. Plus, I loooove Stark!Buy Hunted (House of Night, Book 5)!

Mystical Mandala Coloring Book (Dover Coloring Book)

Dover makes some great coloring books that are inexpensive! I am a big fan of dover coloring books, and own a variety of them. The designs are great in this book, I have another mandala coloring book that i paid quite a bit more for, and i prefer this one because the designs are more detailed where as the more expensive book, the designs are broad, and bland. One downside is that the designs are on the front and back of the page, i use colored pencils so i just put a piece of copy paper between each sheet to avoid rubbing off any color. Not a big enough problem for me to quit buying these books. The 39 Clues (The Maze of Bones, Book 1)

As a mother looking for a new series to get my kids into, I was rather disappointed by this first book. As I read it, this first book reminded my of a Hollywood movie, where you had to suspend your disbelief and pretend you really cared about these characters, then maybe you might enjoy it. In short, the two orphan teens travel internationally with their college-aged au pair in search of the second clue of their inheritance treasure, while their cousins and aunts and uncles try to KILL them. Yeah, really wholesome book. The puzzles were not particularly clever and the story not particularly well written. For a book with better characters, more twists, puzzles/clues that readers can actually solve, try the Mysterious Benedict Society.Buy The 39 Clues (The Maze of Bones, Book 1)!

The Digital Photography Book

I like The Digital Photography Book because it is packed with quick tips from how to improve your flower photography to how to keep your subjects from blinking and ruining your shot. This book tells you what setting to use for the occasion and lighting, not necessarily the why. Each tip is kept to one page and although most could easily read through the whole book in a day, you will return to reread the tips often. The CAFE Book: Engaging All Students in Daily Literary Assessment and Instruction

Surely, if you are reading this review, you are probably a fan or a devotee of this book: Daily Five, The, the book that provided a framework for literacy instruction that revolutionized classrooms across the country. However, I can see the power of implementing both ideas into the room for true impact. If you are a newbie, I can't highly recommend enough "Daily 5". As a mentor with first year teachers, I've seen the impact of the framework on their daily reading block, and it's been quite amazing.

Not only is the book loaded with pictures, but it comes with a CD that is ready to be used, with copies of the forms they have in the book that can be printed out.

The Sisters are truly on the path of authentic, real life teaching practices. If you are a first year or twentieth year teacher like myself, in kindergarten or in fifth grade, this book will be an irreplaceable feature, and one that's frequently borrowed by colleagues after you brag about its impact, for years to come.
