Harry Dresden is a private detective, but his cases are not the kind you'd expect. In fact, Harry's not what you'd expect. On a daily basis, he puts up with snorts of disbelief when people learn he is an honest-to-goodness wizard, clients who have otherworldly connections, demons who trash his beetle, his office, and/or his apartment, and murder investigations where he discovers he's the next target, not to mention brushes with organized crime, vampires, werewolves, faeries and other wizards.
