This book takes place a day or two after the end of Chosen. Zoey is working on making up to her friends by not sharing all of what is going on. But, when Aphrodite has a vision of Zoey dieing alone, she takes things into her own hands and gets the "nerd herd" straightened out.
Now that they are back together, they have to figure out what to do with Stevie Rae and the rest of the group. It feels right to introduce them to the school, but how are they going to accomplish that without Neferet finding out? They also have Stark, a new transfer, that has newly died during the Change. When is he going to rise and how is Neferet going to use him?
Then there is Kalona, a serious super evil being that has been locked in the earth and is going to be released. First they have to figure out who is going to release him and how. Hopefully the leader of all High Priestesses, Shekinah, can get this straightened out before Neferet officially starts killing humans.
I love this series. I feel for Zoey, she is trying to protect her friends and others even though things are to that easy. She is definitely fighting an up hill battle. Thankfully her friends are there to support her the whole way. I will say that I was disappointed in the ending. But it is a great lead into the next book, Hunted. I know I've said it before, but if you like Twilight, you will love this series.Buy Untamed (House of Night, Book 4)!
