Finally, after many months of being stranded in behind enemy lines, the fleet makes it home. The Lost Fleet is no longer lost. And yet, so many loose ends remain. After reading Relentless, I am excited for Victorious, book 6 in the series. In Relentless, we begin to see a climax. The fleet reaching Alliance turf, while maybe the main conflict earlier in the series, is the focus of the series no longer. Its the aliens that exist on the other side of Syndic space, its that the war needs to end, its that John Geary is going to need to settle down somewhere, and many others. I'm left eagerly anticipating Victorious, and I'm expecting and hoping it will be a far larger book than the last 5.
